Aloha… We are Jim and Gary, owners of Hale a Kimo Kali on the beautiful island of Hawaii and Warm Brook Farm in the picturesque state of Vermont.

After years of vacationing on the Big Island and feeling at home here as we do in Vermont, the two of us decided to purchase a home on the east side of the island. Eventually our home here in Kehena Beach will become our permanent residence.

Jim has a background in the Retail field of 35+ years working for major Department Stores and the former Director of Retail for

Gary retired from American Airlines where he worked for 30 years as a flight attendant traveling around the world.

Our home in Vermont is an antique colonial built in 1792 and sits in a valley with views to the Green Mountains to the east and the Taconic Mountains of New York state to the west.

We share the home with our two wonderful golden retrievers Zadock & Ethan and our adopted cat Matty. In our free time the both of us enjoy gardening and over the years we have created many perennial gardens throughout our property here in Vermont. Our gardens have actually been featured in VERMONT magazine.

Since purchasing Hale a Kimo Kali we have begun organizing a list of projects for our new home both inside and out. We are looking forward to more visits to the island which will allow us to devote more of our time and passion in creating wonderful tropical gardens around the property and improvements to our home. So, to our returning guests, you will be seeing changes at Hale a Kimo Kali with every visit.

In Hawaii as in Vermont we are continually captivated by the beauty of our surroundings, the friendliness of the people and the warmth that each location has to offer. During your visit to the Big Island and your stay here at Hale a Kimo Kali, we hope that you are captivated by the beauty of the island and the spirit of Aloha.

A Hui Hou,

Jim & Gary
